RE: All of the campaign speeches that get posted

Here’s my question, and please understand that this is for both nominees:

You’re a member of the senate…so why wait until you get into the White House to make all of these so called changes? Why not lobby for them now? (A President can only make recommendations, he doesn’t have the legislative power to write these bills, while the senate possesses high legislative power). So why aren’t you seriously trying to change America while you actually have the ability to do so, while you’re still in the battlefield? Instead of spending time convincing your “supporters” to contribute to your campaign, why don’t you spend your time on the floor, getting things done?

I want concrete answers from our nominees, not colorful speeches that attempt to make you warm and fuzzy inside. I want to know what they are actually doing now and who is going to be paying for it? Who will have to sacrifice to make these things happen? Because someone always will. Yes, what I’m saying is that I actually want the truth from our nominees…THAT’S change I can believe in.
